About Me
Cush D, living on a healthy diet of Drum&Bass! He started listening to Drum&Bass back around 2003, with tracks such as ‘Bandwagon Blues’ of his liking. Going to such raves as Slammin’ Vinyl and Best of British, at a young age of 16, he knew this was the genre for him. Watching DJs such as Andy C and Fresh inspired him to get into DJing. In his mid-teens he managed to save up enough to buy a sta...rters setup, rarely leaving his bedroom, he soon picked up the skills and started investing in professional equipment. He first started playing in clubs back in 2005, representing many of the local DnB promoters, in Dorset, back when he was known as DJ Fumin. His style ranges, but most sets will include a mix of Jump Up and Neurofunk. Known for double breakdowns and big double drops, and having an ability to read the crowd, Cush D is sure to get the hardest of crowds moving. In October 2007, iRate was started by Cush D (Fumin) & Mutta. Pumping out a series of events that soon built them a reputation as putting on the best of shows for the littlest of costs to the ravers! From 2007 to 2010, iRate had put on dozens of shows in various venues, even outdoors, using nothing but the finest in local talent, plus a collaboration with Southampton’s, On A Mission. In 2011, Mutta left iRate due to family commitments, and things stepped up for iRate and Cush D. Securing the use of the town’s greatest dance nightclub, Cush D started bringing the biggest of headliners to the town. These include Danny Byrd, Hazard, Twisted Individual, Wilkinson and Callide. His DJing has always progressed, with many great reviews flooding in for mixes, and has recently started sharing these online, thanks to Soundcloud. Bookings are always coming in for Cush D, but 2011 looks the busiest yet, Representing for Subsoil, Vibez, Transition, Homegrown, Chemical Element, Vanilla Penguin, Frequency, New Found Theory, Turntable Terrorists and a few more. Cush D - He who dares my son, he who dares! Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 0 Comments |
